This week has been most exhausting. Mentally and physically. I'm literally running here and there to get to my lecture hall. Maybe if you see something that look like a 'cendawan' from afar running, yeap, that's me. Yeah, aside from choosing to wear the hijab, i chose to wear a very long hijab. Yang tudung besar dan bulat tu. The first time i'm wearing it, i can really feel the chills running up my neck. I feel...like an alien. Because i'm the only one in my dental class clad in that kind of outfit. I feel so tremendously alienated but i reminded myself over and over,
So, alhamdulillah, it has been 3 days since i started wearing that type of headscarf and i got used to it. :) Sangat seronok dapat pakai macam tu. :)
Anyway, about dental, unlike the dental course in other universities, we have to learn both medical(wholly) and dental at the same time. Kind of hard to keep up with the pace because we only get lunch break. So, i have to rush to solat and eat(if i'm lucky). Sometimes, the lunch break is only for 45 minutes so, rush rush rush. But alhamdulillah, in a way, i didn't have to waste my free time dawdling.
Anyway, i think i'm getting better in my kelantanese dialect. Selalu la jugak acu tera test kat pokcik mokcik kafe tu. Takpe, boleh improve lagi. Lagi 5 taun duk sini. Bereh~
Bukan apa, later on we have to know how to speak kelantan because most of the patients here don't know how to speak standard malay. Terms like 'sekok'(chest pain), 'cerah perut'(i think this is diarrhea) are common whenever diagnosis is carried out. They can only describe their symptoms using their own local language so if i'm not able to comprehend, how can i communicate right? So, nak tak nak, kena gak blaja.
So far, i love it here. Tarbiyyah pun senang dapat. Tinggal nak ke tak je. Tomorrow we have Konsert Gaza and inshaALLAH, the 'sukarelawan misi LL4G flotilla' will come and share their experiences and plus, Shoutul Harakah is going to perform nasyid, hence, I'm sooo excited!
Gaza will never die.
InshaALLAH.
Towards the ultimate success(jannah).
