I'm sure everyone(ok, almost everyone) have heard of Ustadz Nouman Ali Khan? Well, he's practically my favourite Youstaz(Youtube Ustaz) because of his way of explaining the Quran. Man, I would give anything to understand the Quran like he does and I really want to learn Arabic, just for the sake of understanding the Quran.

I love the Quran and I really want to live according to the book, but yeah, it is hard to istiqamah when you don't really understand.

What I mean by understanding here is not with the mind, but the heart.

I'll keep on trying my best and if Allah wills it, I want to learn Arabic when I have the liberty to do so. InshaAllah.

My dad's turn

Mummy

Finally, after 1 and a half years(maybe more), the truth is out. I confessed to my mum about me being a Muslim. When I first told her, she was upset and angry. She asked me: Who influenced you into being one? Did u have a boyfriend? Who converted you? Did you know that it’s a big sin to convert when you are already baptized?! I was silent all the while she was bombarding me with her questions but Alhamdulillah, I feel calm and unmoved. I didn’t feel guilty at all. So I told her, Mummy, nobody forced me to become one. No, that is not the reason I become a Muslim. A letter for you
